We are seeking support for a general “clear\, clean and tidy up” ; encouraging a co-ordinated effort to beautify the towns with newly planted public spaces\, buildings adorned with planters and flower baskets and Jubilee themed window displays\, as well as cleaning and repainting building facades when possible\, and other improvements such as clearing away unsightly cables and unnecessary signage and making minor repairs to stonework and joinery. \nHelp and support will be available from the facelift team and volunteer Facelift Ambassadors\, who will be visiting buildings in the core area to encourage participation. Advice on alterations\, or on repainting of town centre buildings can be had from the Conservation Team at the borough.
